Summary of breeding rules
-Should obtain the necessary qualifications as mentioned in Article 7.a. of the Breeding Rules. To obtain a statement ‘Suitable for breeding’ copies of show results and/or inventories have to be submitted to the secretary of the Breeding Affairs Committee.
-Should be in excellent health.
-Need to be of the correct age: Males and females at least 24 months old.
The request for an Approval Statement for a mating should be submitted to the secretary of the FAC at least 3 months before the expected mating. The following should be uploaded with your request:
-Copies of the pedigrees of female and the requested males.
-Copies of the DNA-marker test /DNA-gene test for PRA (Bochum or Biofocus) of female and requested males.
-Mating is allowed when results of the PRA DNA-tests of both dogs are submitted to the Association. Breeding is allowed with the results

The FAC must have approved the combination. An approval means: the combination is in accordance with the Association Breeding Rules.

The mating should be reported within 21 days, to the secretary of the FAC. Please supply a copy of the Mating Report (Raad van Beheer).
The birth of pups has to be reported within 10 days, to the secretary of the FAC. Please supply a copy of the Birth Report (Raad van Beheer).
Certificates can be requested at the secretary of the FAC. Please supply copies of the registration forms as provided by the chipper (Raad van Beheer).
Raad van Beheer is the Dutch Kennel Club.
After receipt of the invoice the pup contribution should be paid.
Above mentioned rules are described in detail in the Association Breeding Rules (to be translated). Breeders and stud dog owners are obliged to follow these rules.
